The wooden money sack that was developed by Katja Šivec together with Bojan and Aleksander Zajc derives from form of antique sack as a classic way of keeping coins. The wooden sack is distinguished for the contemporary minimalist design that beautifully complements every setting. Wood as sustainable material gives it a natural and homelike flair. An organic wax finish ensures natural protection and resistance. The sack’s special characteristic is a coin on a string that serves as a key to open its bottom and empty it.

And don’t forget – the wooden money sack keeps CO2 as well. While the tree grows and carries out photosynthesis, a cubic metre of wood binds 0,9 tons of this harmful gas and an item being used binds another 1,1 tons.
