Data protection

The online store www.in-situ.si (hereinafter the “Provider”) undertakes to protect all personal data of the user in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the Regulation of the European Parliament and the European Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR).

The Provider obtains data when users register, in other types of communication, such as e-mail with inquiries, complaints, orders and returns of products and communication via social networks or by telephone; with prize games, with cookies when reviewing our offer or executing an order, with your consent, which you can revoke or set anywhere on our website, at the bottom of the page.

Cookie settings

The Provider keeps the IP addresses of all visitors to the online store, but with registered members it also keeps:

  • name and surname,
  • E-mail address,
  • contact phone,
  • primary address
  • shipping address,
  • country of residence,
  • time and date of registration,
  • other data entered by the user during registration or later, e. g. company tax number.

Bank card numbers and other financial data are not received or stored by the provider. The provider only receives a confirmation of the transaction.

All users can revoke their consent to the retention of personal data by sending a short letter to the following address: info@in-situ.si

Your profile and all related data will be deleted, only in the event that an order has been placed, the purchase data will be stored in accordance with the law.

The obtained data shall be kept until revoked or until the deadlines defined by law.

The privacy of our users is one of the areas that we treat separately and with maximum attention. The transfer of data to the website is protected by a certificate issued by an authorized organization.

The user is responsible for the protection of personal data as well by ensuring the security of his username and password and by appropriate software (anti-virus) protection of his computer. Passwords of registered users cannot be accessed by the provider because they are encrypted. Users can check and correct their profile information in the section “My Profile” (login required). The Provider is not responsible for the accuracy of the data entered by the user.

The Provider will use user data for the following purposes:

 

  • with the consent of the user to present e-news, which you can unsubscribe at the bottom of each e-news. Other marketing activities through social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google…, are performed indirectly and with the user’s consent on the social network in question,
  • for the execution of orders,
  • for resolving complaints,
  • and storing purchase data in accordance with the law.

 

The Provider will provide personal data in the following cases:

  • Via cookies, with your consent, providers such as Google, Facebook, etc.
  • To the contracting companies that deliver the purchased goods (the Provider will provide only the most basic information necessary for delivery, such as: name and surname or company name, delivery address, town and telephone number).
  • In the case of resolving complaints through the Provider, the Provider will provide the information necessary to resolve the complaint.
  • Exceptional disclosure of personal data: collected and processed data will be disclosed only in cases provided by law for proceedings before courts or other state bodies and for the protection and realization of legitimate interests of cooperative In situ, z.o.o., so.p.

 

Implementing the privacy policy

All full-time or contract employees of the Provider who have access to personal and other user data are aware of the duty to protect personal and other data and are obliged to comply with these provisions on protecting the confidentiality of personal data and privacy of online store users. The duty to protect personal and other data is valid indefinitely, even after the termination of the relationship with the Provider.
